Powers John's Lane 12 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey named after the Dublin street where Powers was distilled until the 1970s, and now made at Midleton Distillery. Matured mainly in bourbon casks with some Oloroso sherry casks, it is bold and full-bodied. Expect honey, toasted oak, dried fruit, liquorice and the robust spice typical of pot still whiskey, with a long finish. Best enjoyed neat.
