Paul John Christmas Edition 2019 is a limited seasonal release of Indian single malt from John Distilleries in Goa. A gently peated malt aimed squarely at sherry lovers, it opens with pralines, baked apple, caramel cheesecake, orange blossom honey and blond chocolate. The palate brings heather honey, raisins, dried plum, light mocha and soft smoke, before a long finish of spiced French toast and smoked nuts. A festive dram to savour neat.
