A peated Indian single malt from Paul John, produced by John Distilleries in Goa, bottled at a robust 55.5%. Made from Indian six-row barley and matured in Goa's tropical climate, it shows smoky, sweet and earthy aromas with mellow spice. On the palate, muscovado and demerara sugar meet a gradually building smokiness, with hints of hickory and cocoa. The finish brings Dominican-style cocoa with the tart edge of marmalade. Best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water.
