Old Monk is a much-loved dark rum from India, produced by Mohan Meakin since the 1950s and famous for its distinctive monk-shaped bottle. It is a vatted rum aged in oak, with a smooth, mellow character. Expect vanilla, caramel, molasses and a hint of spice, finishing gently sweet. Presented here as a gift set, it makes a thoughtful present. Classic with cola, or enjoyed neat over ice.
