McConnell's Sherry Cask is a blended Irish whisky from the revived Belfast brand McConnell's, now produced by the Belfast Distillery Company, whose home is the former Crumlin Road Gaol. The blend is finished in sherry casks, which add richness and depth to its smooth Irish base. Expect notes of dried fruit, raisins, toffee and warming spice, with a rounded, sweet finish. A good choice for those who enjoy a fuller, fruitier dram.
