Maredsous Tripel is a Belgian abbey beer brewed by Duvel Moortgat under licence from the Benedictine monks of Maredsous Abbey in Wallonia. In the classic tripel style, it is a strong, golden ale refermented in the bottle, giving a fine, persistent head. Expect a rich yet balanced palate of honey, ripe fruit, spice and malt, with a warming, gently bitter finish. Serve in a goblet at cellar temperature and sip slowly, ideally with aged cheeses.
