Liefmans Fruitesse is a Belgian fruit beer from the Liefmans brewery in Oudenaarde, a town with a long tradition of sour brown ales. It is based on beer matured with cherries, blended with fruit juices such as strawberry, raspberry, elderberry and blueberry. Deep ruby-red in colour, it is sweet, fruity and refreshing, with a light, lively body. Liefmans recommends serving it over ice, making it an easy-drinking summer choice or brunch drink.
