The FMC is Ken Forrester's flagship Chenin Blanc, made from old bush vines in Stellenbosch and widely regarded as one of South Africa's benchmark Chenins. The grapes are picked very ripe and the wine is fermented and matured in French oak, giving a rich, layered style. Expect honey, ripe stone fruit and gentle spice with a lingering citrus aftertaste. It will age beautifully for many years and pairs with rich poultry or pork.
