Jameson Select Reserve is a richer, small-batch style Jameson from the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, matured in part in heavily charred bourbon barrels for greater intensity. The nose brings butterscotch, fudge and creamy toffee. On the palate, nutty notes are in abundance alongside smooth sweetness, spice and vanilla. The finish is rich, with toasted wood and lingering vanilla. A fuller-flavoured step up from classic Jameson, excellent neat, over ice or in an Old Fashioned.
