Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey made at Midleton Distillery for the Dublin wine merchants Mitchell & Son, a brand with roots going back over a century. It is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. Toffee and malt lead on the nose with apple and pear, followed by a soft, chewy palate of malt and gentle fruit, with a lovely balance through the finish.
