The Famous Grouse is a classic blended Scotch whisky first produced by Matthew Gloag & Son in Perth in 1896, and now owned by Edrington. The single malts in the blend include Edrington's Highland Park and The Macallan, aged in oak casks including sherry-seasoned wood. Expect a smooth, well-balanced dram with dried fruit, gentle spice and a hint of citrus. A handy size for travelling or trying the blend.
