Elijah Craig 12 Year Old is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, named after Reverend Elijah Craig, the Baptist preacher often credited, perhaps mythically, with first ageing bourbon in charred oak barrels. Twelve years in charred oak give layers of sweet toasted oak, toffee and warming spice. The palate is full and smooth, with a lingering oaky finish. A rewarding sipper for lovers of classic American whiskey.
