Żubrówka is a classic Polish vodka flavoured with bison grass from the Białowieża Forest, and each bottle traditionally contains a single blade of the grass. The grass lends delicate herbal notes of fresh-cut hay, vanilla, almond and a hint of coconut to the smooth rye spirit. Serve chilled and neat, or try it the Polish way as a Szarlotka, mixed with cloudy apple juice and a dash of cinnamon.
