Stroh 80 is the famous Austrian spiced rum from Stroh, founded by Sebastian Stroh in Klagenfurt in 1832, and bottled at a powerful 80% ABV as the name suggests. It is an Inländer-style rum with intense notes of caramel, vanilla, butterscotch and spice. Use it in small measures: it is traditional in Austrian Jagertee and hot punches, excellent for baking and flambéing, and adds depth to cocktails.
