Ouzo of Mitilini comes from Lesvos, the Greek island whose capital, Mytilene, is famous throughout Greece for its ouzo production. Made to an unchanged traditional recipe, it is a soft and smooth ouzo with a clean, aromatic aniseed character. Serve it the Greek way, with chilled water or ice, which turns it cloudy white, and enjoy it slowly alongside meze, olives, feta and grilled seafood.
