Ouzo Boutari comes from Boutari, the Greek wine and spirits house founded in Naoussa in 1879. Ouzo is Greece's national aperitif, a grape-based spirit flavoured with anise and other aromatic seeds and herbs. Expect a clean, aromatic aniseed character with a smooth finish. Serve it in the Greek way, with chilled water or ice, which turns it cloudy white, alongside meze such as olives, feta and grilled seafood.
