Faithful Hound is a Bordeaux-style red blend from Mulderbosch Vineyards in Stellenbosch. It is named after a dog that loyally waited at the farm for its departed owner. Expect ripe blackcurrant, plum and dark berry fruit with cedar, spice and a hint of herbs, on a medium- to full-bodied palate with smooth tannins. A versatile red for roast meats, pasta and hearty dishes.
