Metanoia Rye is a South African whisky crafted in small batches of just two to four casks from a mash of predominantly malted rye. It is matured in a combination of ex-Rupert & Rothschild red wine barrels, ex-bourbon casks and virgin American oak, then bottled at 48.6% to preserve depth and character. Expect peppery rye spice balanced by red fruit and vanilla sweetness. A limited, ongoing release best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water.
