The Macallan 12 Years Old Triple Cask is a Speyside single malt matured in a combination of three cask types: sherry-seasoned European oak, sherry-seasoned American oak and American oak that previously held bourbon. This blend of woods gives a lighter, more delicate Macallan than the Sherry Oak expressions, with citrus, vanilla, butterscotch and gentle oak spice, finishing smooth and lightly sweet.
