Licor de Aniz is a traditional Portuguese anise liqueur, a style long enjoyed in Portugal and within South Africa's Portuguese community. Sweet and aromatic, it carries the distinctive liquorice-like flavour of aniseed with a smooth, syrupy texture. It is traditionally served in small glasses after a meal as a digestif, and also pairs well with coffee or can be poured over ice for a cooling sip.
