Cape Doctor is a red blend from Journey's End, a family-owned estate on the Helderberg slopes near Sir Lowry's Pass in Stellenbosch. Named after the Cape's famous south-easterly wind, it blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Expect dark berry and cassis fruit, cedar and gentle spice, with a polished structure. Serve with roast lamb, beef or hearty stews.
