Jameson Black Barrel is a richer expression of Jameson from the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, created as a tribute to the brand's coopers. It blends small-batch grain and traditional pot still whiskeys matured in American oak, sherry casks and bourbon barrels that have been given an extra, second charring. The double charring intensifies the flavour, bringing notes of vanilla, caramel, toasted wood, nuttiness and spice. Excellent neat, on ice or in an Old Fashioned.
