The Irishman Cask Strength 2023 is a limited annual release from Walsh Whiskey in County Carlow, Ireland. It blends triple-distilled single malt and single pot still Irish whiskeys, matured in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at natural cask strength without dilution. The result is bold and generous, with layers of honey, vanilla, baked fruit, toffee and warming spice, and a long, rich finish. Taste it neat first, then add a few drops of water to open it up.
