Hinch Peated Single Malt is an Irish whiskey from Hinch Distillery in County Down, Northern Ireland, which has three copper pot stills on site. It is matured in ex-bourbon American oak, Madeira and Oloroso sherry casks. The peat is well balanced and interwoven with dried fruit, earthy and mossy rather than heavily smoky, with a subtle sweetness on the finish. A gentle introduction to peated Irish whiskey.
