The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old is one of the best-loved Speyside single malts. After around twelve years in traditional American oak whisky casks, it is transferred into European oak sherry casks for a further period of maturation. The result is smooth and rich, with notes of honey, vanilla, sweet fruit and cinnamon spice, and a long, warming finish.
