New York was once a thriving centre for Rye whiskey distillation and this bottling marks the first to be made in the State since the Volstead act was repealed.
The style of whiskey has always been associated with the Manhattan cocktail, hence the naming of this as a Manhattan Rye.
This is distinguised by the fact that it is distilled solely from rye grain and is matured in the company’s signature small barrels.
