Glen Elgin 12 Years Old
R1,175.00
North of Scotland’s mountainous Cairngorm region the arable land is rich, the climate cool and dry. Here, where the River Lossie meanders toward the ancient Royal Burgh of Elgin, is the fine old distillery that bears its name. House martins, which have returned each April for as long as can be remembered, swoop among the now rare worm tubs. The distillery maintains traditional practices like these, in order to maintain its whisky’s elusive fruity character.
