Dunville’s PX 10 Years Single Malt

NOSE: Apricots, grapefruit, and toasted almonds open up to green cooking apples, warming to apple tatin, lightly spiced calvados caramel creme, and a dark fruit compote.
PALATE: Freshly picked green apples, fruit sorbet, soft orchard fruit salad, raisins, figs, and stewed dates from the PX sherry cask influence, all while with a base of sweet malt, light marzipan sponge cake, and a splendid candied orange grace note we have come to expect from Dunville’s.
FINISH: Clean malt interspersed with vanilla panna cotta, dried tropical fruits, clove, oak spice, and a lingering PX sherry.
